Bali Digi Fest

In order to realize Bali as a Digital Creative Paradise, the Government of Bali held the Bali Digifest, which lasted for 3 days starting from 8 - 10 April 2022. Bali Digifest not only presented entertainment in the form of music performances, exhibitions and competitions, but also talk shows with various interesting topics. One of the topics of the Bali Digifest talk show on Saturday 9 April was on Payment System Navigation to Optimize the Digital Financial Economy, which presented the General Chairperson of the Indonesian E-Commerce Association Bima Laga as resource persons, along with Assistant Governor of Bank Indonesia Filianingsih Hendarta, Head of KPwBI Bali Province Trisno Nugroho, and ASPI Treasurer Vincent Iswara.

On this occasion, Head of KPwBI Bali Province Trisno Nugroho conveyed the efforts that had been made by Bank Indonesia, in collaboration with the Bali Regional Government to socialize the use of QRIS as a means of payment. According to him, QRIS has become one of the payment trends in Bali, also supported by the Bali Regional Government which has applied the use of QRIS to pay PAD, PHR, and STNK taxes. In line with that, Bima Laga as the General Chair of idEA also stated that the transition to a digital payment system is a challenge as well as one of the main focuses of digitalization at this time. For this reason, idEA and member companies seek to support the Government's target by providing education to MSME actors throughout Indonesia, through various webinars and trainings. In the future, idEA is open to collaborating with government and private parties in the context of socializing QRIS and other digitalization supporting tools.
