On April 13, 2022, the Secretariat of the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) held a virtual meeting with idEA Members from the Travel Cluster. On this occasion, representatives from each Member company conveyed matters of concern, to be further discussed and assisted from the advocacy side by idEA as the Association.

Among the things that are of concern to colleagues from the Travel Cluster, are regarding flight arrangements that are still changing, updating regulations on the use of Care Protect Applications and CHSE Standards in the Tourism sector in general, to plans to hold hearings with the Health Platform and the Ministry of Health. to discuss travel regulations in the new normal era.

The hope is that the travel platforms incorporated in idEA can prepare a shared narrative in the recovery of the tourism sector by digital platforms, such as those currently owned by the marketplace, thus facilitating the process of hearing and advocating issues to the government. Going forward, idEA will regularly hold meetings with each of its cluster members, so that issues specific to each cluster can be quickly discussed together.
