On Tuesday, January 11, 2022, the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) held a meeting with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo). This event presented representatives from Kominfo, Directorate General of Aptika Kominfo, as well as administrators and idEA member companies. This meeting discussed the agenda of the Indonesian Presidency at the G20, guided by Ms. Mira Tayyiba as Secretary General-Kominfo.

This meeting is expected to harmonize the vision between the government and business actors in an effort to encourage the growth of Indonesia's digital economy, as well as gather aspirations and input so that the G20 event will produce comprehensive recommendations, represent conditions on the ground and are solution-based. Representatives of idEA member companies who attended had the opportunity to provide input on the material presented, especially those related to the issue of the Digital Economy and the Digital Economy Working Group 2022.

On this occasion, Ms. Mira Tayyiba as Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics expressed her hope for idEA and its member companies to be able to play an active role in efforts to make the Indonesian Presidency successful as the host of this year's G20 event. Mira believes, with the collaboration and commitment of each party, the Indonesian Presidency, especially the Digital Economy Working Group, can bring not only the good name of Indonesia in the eyes of the global community, but also lasting benefits that can be felt by all Indonesian people.
