CPPOB Training for Processed Food SMEs by BPOM

In carrying out its mission to facilitate the acceleration of the development of the Drug and Food business world by taking sides with MSMEs in order to build a productive and competitive economic structure for the independence of the nation, the POM RI organized a CPPOB Training program for Processed Food MSEs, as a pilot project in 13 provinces by involving 190 City District, as an effort to assist MSEs in implementing the requirements for Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB).

The Indonesian E-Commerce Association was also invited to be a speaker at the West Regional CPPOB Bimtek Training Agenda, last Thursday 22 September. idEA, which was represented by Deputy General Chair Budi Primawan, had the opportunity to deliver material about the use of digital technology for marketing. Budi said that business people, including those in the drug and food sector, must present their brands digitally, so that consumers can easily search and find businesses on the internet. Budi added that the presence of a brand on the internet will open up the potential to get new orders and customers from various marketing channels. Budi also reminded business actors to be careful in reading the terms and conditions on each platform, to be committed to complying with the applicable provisions and not hesitate to ask the platform if there is something that is not understood. Especially for the drug and food product categories, which of course have their own terms and conditions on the terms of sale.
